Although seemingly strangled by S Africa, Lesotho did enjoy it.s freedom.
Country within a country
Lesotho was such a shamefully poor place when I went to stay there. The capital is called Maseru. It is a small country within the boundaries of S Africa itself. When apartheid was in place people could come here to enjoy their freedom whether black or white.
