Gatorland

You think this place is a gimick? Come here to the rookery in Jan/Feb when the egrets and pelicans, vultures. ibis and herons are all in breeding season!!! It is a photographers paradise. When I first discovered this rookery I would come here with my Nikon and be the only photographer there. It was awesome. All the photographers around thought that the rookery in St Augustine was the place to be. Well not any more. Now they even have a photographers pass with special hours, which is nice but still............ way busier than it used to be.
